A Catholic Cub Scouting program for boys and girls
Pack 234 is chartered to Holy Trinity Catholic School

Dens meet at Holy Trinity School twice each month. We also have one monthly pack meeting one the second or third Saturday.

Tigers meet on Sunday afternoons at the den leader’s house.
Everyone else meets 6:30 pm inside Holy Trinity school. Lions and AOLs meet on Monday evenings. Wolves meet on Wednesday evenings.
All scouts should attend in field uniforms (Class A). (MORE INFO on uniforms)
UPCOMING EVENTS
April Pack Meeting: Crossover Campfire

The ARROW OF LIGHT is the highest rank award in Cub Scouting! We will be awarding the Arrow of Light to our senior members of the Radioactive Turtle Patrol and then sending them on to Scouts BSA.
Date: April 12, 2025
Time: 4-6 pm
Location: Holy Trinity School
Uniform: Class A
This is an important and joyful ceremony. We ask all families and scouts to attend.

Cub Scout Day Camp at Cabrillo Beach

Cabrillo Day Camp is for all ages!
Pack 234 is trying to get everyone signed up for WEEK 2 (June 23).
You can go any week, and even multiple weeks.
What: Activities include: handcrafts, nature, aquatics, STEM, shooting, and games
Dates: Eight summer weeks starting on June 16
Times: 9 am – 4:30 pm (arrive by 8:45)
Where: Cabrillo Scout Center, 3000 Shoshonean Rd, San Pedro, CA 90731 (click for map)
Wear: T-shirts and shorts (camp-provided t-shirt preferred)
Bring: All scouts should arrive in a swimsuit
Each day, scouts should have a backpack, a snack, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, dry clothing (t-shirt and shorts), a towel, and closed-toe shoes. Lunch will be provided, or you can pack one for your scout.
Spring Camping: Battleship Iowa

Pack 234 has been invited to camp aboard the USS Iowa, a battleship moored at the Port of Los Angeles! This is an optional activity for families.

What: Pack overnight campout
When: Starts at 4:30 pm on Saturday, April 26
Continues until Sunday morning at 9 am
Where: USS Iowa, 250 S Harbor Blvd, San Pedro, CA 90731
Wear: Class A uniforms and sleeping clothes
Bring: Sleeping bag, pillow, hygiene items, sleeping clothes, water bottle, and headlamp
Cost will be $110 per person

Spring Camping: Rocket Academy

Join the Adventure at Cub Rocket Academy!
This will be an action-packed weekend full of fun and excitement for the whole family. Throughout Saturday, scouts and siblings rotate through a variety of activities and cap off the evening with a movie under the stars.
Activities include BB guns, archery, slingshots, crafts, rocket launching, and a special nighttime fire show.
Build a model rocket at home and launch it at Firestone Scout Reservation. Spend quality time camping with family and enjoying the great outdoors. Don’t forget your camp chair! Be sure to sign up early—this event sells out every year!

When: May 2-4, 2025

Cost is $75 for scouts/siblings and $45 for adults
May Pack Meeting: Spring Campout

This will be Pack 234’s final pack meeting of the year. Here are the details:
What: Pack overnight campout
When: Starts at 12 pm on Saturday, May 10
Continues until Sunday morning at 9 am
Where: Los Padres National Forest, Holiday Group Campground, 17017 Maricopa Hwy, Ojai, CA 93023 (click for map)
Wear: T-shirts during the day, Class A uniforms at night
Bring: Check out the Pack 234 campout packing list
PLEASE RSVP and sign up to bring food (link is not live yet). There is a limit to the number of cars and campers.

Archdiocese of Los Angeles Annual Scout Recognition Mass

The Archdiocese of Los Angeles will celebrate a special Award Presentation Mass at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. This year will be the 99th year that Scouts will be recognized by the Archdiocese.
Cub Scout recipients of the Parvuli Dei or the Light of Christ Awards are invited to participate in our annual Archdiocesan Award Presentation Mass!!! All Cub award recipients will be recognized as a group and at the conclusion of the Mass, they will be invited to join the Scouts for a group photo in the Cathedral!!!

Summer 2025

Pack 234 is active during the summer. Any scout who participates in one or more events in each summer month (June, July, and August) is eligible for the National Summertime Award belt loops and pins (can be earned every year). All scouts and non-scouts are welcome to join us!
